The spa is situated in an old mansion’s park. Inside the mansion there are different kinds of treatments available.

History

According to the finds here, this land was inhabited since the 11C. The first source which mentioned the name of Abony dates back to the 13C. When the Turks had invaded Hungary, it became deserted. Soon new settlers had come here, and in the 18C it got the privileges of an oppidium, which means it became a small town, which could hold weekly markets. In the 19C the railway was laid down. After some further develops, Abony became the chief town of the district. Nowadays tourism plays an important role in the life of the settlement.

After refreshing your self in the spa, you should take a walk in Abony, because there are some interesting things to see around.

There are lots of old buildings around Abony, which still remain the former noble’s and rich people’s life in the town. You should walk to the mansions Csernus-Szedenik, Fábián-Berg and Vigyázó. These names are all family names. The Vigyázó family also had a small castle in Abony. There is also an old barn in the town, where you can see the exhibition about local history.

It is also worth to explore the countryside around. There are some great places if you like angling, and this land is rich in natural beauties.
