Jászszentandrás bath spa resort

History

The first source which mentioned the name of the town dates back to the 14C. It was the property of the chapter of Eger. In the 15C it became deserted and was the property of the neighboring village. In the 18C scattered farms were dominating this place. It became an independent village only in the 20C.

After refreshing your self in the spa, you should go to see the imposing church of Jászszentandrás. It was built in neo-Gothic style at the beginning of the 20C.

This place is situated near Eger and also near the Hortobágy. The surrounding villages of Jászság are rich in folk culture and traditions.
