How can I get to Kehidakustány by car?

In case you come from Zalaegerszeg, the capital of Zala, you have to take road 76 till you reach Zalacsány, then turn left to the North and drive 1,5 kilometers to get here

Kehidakustány is situated about 15 kilometers from the city of Héviz, 20 kilometers from Keszthely ( drive by the way of: Keszthely, Hévíz, Alsópáhok, Felsőpáhok, take your right and you get here on that secondary road)

From Budapest take the motorway M7, then at the end keep on driving in the same direction on the south coast of Lake Balaton take highway 7 till you get to Balatonkeresztúr. There you find a rotary, take the direction of Zalaegerszeg, Keszthely and as you pass Balatonszentgyörgy, you are in the right way to get here after passing Keszthely, Hévíz, Alsópáhok, Felsőpáhok by.

Leaving from Vienna pass the border in Sopron, then take road 84 to Keszthely, then choose road 76 right to Zalaegerszeg, but when you get to Zalacsány, take the secondary road on your right hand to reach Kehidakustány.

From Tapolca by car you drive to Sümeg first, than pass Nagygörbő, Zalaszentgrót and you will find your way assisted by information signs

Driving from Szombathely take road 87, get to Kam, then choose the secondary road to Zalabér, Zalaszentgrót. The distance from there is only 13 kilometers to the South.

Starting your trip from Sárvár, take road 84 to Jánosháza, then choose the secondary road to Türje, Zalaszentgrót to the South.

How can You get here by train?

Currently there’s no way to get here by train, cause there’s no railway station in Kehidakustány. The closest railway station is in Keszthely, there you can take a bus in the direction of Zalaszentgrót and get off at Kehidakustány. Kehida Termál Hotel**** and Family Spa is about 50 meters far away from the bus stop.

In case you travel by plane…

Hungary has only one international airport: in Budapest - Ferihegy II. It’s about 200 kilometers far away from here, so please follow the direction above…

The West – Balaton – Airport situated in Sármellék (about 20 kilometers far away from Kehidakustány) also receives charter planes

The New Way of Curing Stenosis

In the Medical Centre of Kehidakustány Thermal Bath a new therapy is starting, which is standing out of international experiences, will treat the physical causes of stenosis e.g. developing vessel plaques instead of curing the symptoms. The treatment is the result of a Hungarian invention that has been developed for many years. Although the exact effect is not known yet, the results of 320 patients have been cured are rather good. The clinical examination of the treatment is under way or is beginning in several hospitals and searching places like the Rehabilitation Department of Ajka Hospital, Szeged University Clinics,Telki Private Hospital, Institute of Physiotherapy of Vienna Medical University, and the Hygienic College of Zalaegerszeg. Since no side effects of the therapy are known, according to ORKI experts, the therapy has been permitted in physiotherapial clinics.

Stenosis

Circulatory system problems can be considered very common in Hungary as about 50 % of the people suffers from some types of it. However, stenosis covers nearly 20% of the adult population!

It is well known that the essential materials from food and drink can reach the organs through blood vessels. If any parts of the arterial system becomes narrow for some reasons, the particular area will not get enough oxygen or essential nourishment, and the area will be painful. If the narrow vessel is completely blocked, the tissues of the area will die. If it develops in any of the limbs, it will finally result the amputation of the part or the whole limb. The block in the internal organs can cause heart attack or stroke. Mostly endangered arteries are coronary, cerebro ones and those in the legs. If the blocking process is quite slow in the artery, the smaller vessels around it, the so called collaterals, will dilate to supply the area. This process, however, is also slow, and it is uncertain that the new vessels will be able to provide proper blood supply.

One basic point of the new therapy is to stimulate the developing of the side circulation, which is a natural process, besides helping the regeneration of the damaged old one, On the whole, it uses up the ability of self regeneration of the human body.

The risk factors of stenosis

Many reasons can cause stenosis, among which smoking, high blood pressure and cholesterol level, and diabetes are most common. Overweight, little movement, genetic factors and stress are also endangering problems.

Symptoms of stenosis

In order to recognize stenosis in time and prevent serious outcome, it is important to pay attention to the key symptoms and go to see the doctor if

The main point of the therapy

This new physiotherapical method is the latest medical treatment for the prevention of acquired stenosis and arteriosclerosis, and is based on the scientific facts of physics, biology and pathology.

During the treatment, mechanical waves with specially alternating frequency are given to the human body. Moreover, the ability of the organism will develop to recover the circulation by activating the collateral vessels.

Treatment
