Veresegyház bath spa resort
You may refresh your self in a pleasant place if you visit the spa of Veresegyház. The medicinal water of Veresegyház is very similar to the water of the famous Széchenyi Baths in Budapest. It is mostly recommended for those who have some kind of motor disease or are after some accident injury and rehabilitation. There is only one pool in this small complex but nearby is the beach with some large open-air pools and cold water, an ideal place in summertime.
History
This land was inhabited since the early middle ages. The first source which mentioned the name of Veresegyház dates back to the 14C. Most of its inhabitants worked in agriculture and they were using the close markets in the nearby towns to sell their goods. Strawberry was the most important merchandise of Veresegyház.
This place was always a great holiday resort, the first weekend houses by the side of the lake were built at the beginning of the 20C. The factories and tourism attracts people so work in Veresegyház, so it is a still dynamically developing town.

After refreshing your self in the spa you should take a walk in the town because there are some interesting exhibitions, imposing buildings in Veresegyház.
The former Caílvinist church was destroyed and rebuilt again as catholic church in the 17C. If you visit this temple, don’t miss to see the ceiling fresco where girls give strawberry to Virgin Mary.
